The November Edit by Sarmal Design: a geometric cotton wall artwork above a walnut console in a warm neutral interior.

The November Edit: Handcrafted Wall Art for a More Personal Home

A wall can change the way a room feels. Cotton brings softness to a clean interior; woven fibers sit naturally alongside timber; sculptural metal introduces definition and shadow. The right work gives the eye somewhere to pause and connects the materials already around it.

For the November Edit, we have selected five Sarmal Design pieces with different textures, proportions and ways of arranging them. Explore the collection, find a work that suits your space, and enjoy 20% off all online products through 30 November 2026, automatically applied at checkout.

Begin with the feeling you want to create

Choose the wall before choosing the artwork. Think about the room from the places you use most: the sofa, dining table or doorway. A piece that looks right close up should also hold its place when you step back.

Handcrafted surfaces reward that change of distance. Individual cords, woven circles and painted contours become part of a larger composition. Start with one material or color you already enjoy in the room, then look for a work that carries it onto the wall.

Five pieces from the November Edit

1. Geometric texture for a quiet focal point

Bespoke Geometric Textile Wall Canvas by Sarmal Design
Bespoke Geometric Textile Wall Canvas

The Bespoke Geometric Textile Wall Canvas brings a structured, dimensional surface to a calm interior. Its listed 80 × 80 cm format and 100% cotton cord construction make it a considered choice above a console or within a reading corner.

Pair its geometry with a simple piece of furniture and leave clear wall space around it. Repeat one shade from the artwork in a cushion or ceramic vessel to connect the composition to the rest of the room. Custom sizes and colors can be discussed before ordering.

2. Navy and cream for a generous wall

Navy & Cream Cotton Wall Art — 150 × 120 cm by Sarmal Design
Navy & Cream Cotton Wall Art — 150 × 120 cm

The Navy & Cream Cotton Wall Art combines cotton cord with a natural wood dowel in a broad 150 × 120 cm composition. Its repeated vertical forms and hanging fibers introduce movement, while navy adds definition to the cream palette.

Consider it for the main wall of a living room or above a wide sideboard. Before choosing a position, mark its full width and length on the wall so the lowest fibers have room to hang freely.

3. Woven circles for a composition of your own

Black, Brown & White Wall Plates — Set of 15 by Sarmal Design
Black, Brown & White Wall Plates — Set of 15

The Black, Brown & White Wall Plates — Set of 15 brings together hand-painted natural straw rope and a restrained palette. The separate circular pieces let you explore a broad arrangement above a dining sideboard or a more compact grouping in an entryway.

Lay the plates out on the floor first. Adjust the spaces between them until the whole arrangement feels balanced, then use paper templates on the wall to check its overall footprint before mounting.

4. Sculptural iron for a defined accent

Abstract Metal Wall Art — 70 cm by Sarmal Design
Abstract Metal Wall Art — 70 cm

Designed by Zeynep Ergüney, the Abstract Metal Wall Art — 70 cm uses hand-painted iron to create a dimensional focal point. Its 70 cm diameter offers a different scale from a wide textile installation.

Try it on a clear wall beside warm wood or soft upholstery. Look at the proposed position in both daylight and evening light: the form and its shadows should feel part of the room. The product includes the required hanging hardware.

5. Vertical rhythm with textile wall tubes

Banded Textile Wall Tubes — Set of 3 by Sarmal Design
Banded Textile Wall Tubes — Set of 3

The Banded Textile Wall Tubes — Set of 3 combines soft fibers and contrasting bands in lengths of 100, 80 and 60 cm. The rounded forms project from the wall, adding depth that is especially noticeable from an angle.

Use the three lengths to build a staggered composition above a console or on a wall where a vertical arrangement feels natural. Measure the group with its intended spacing, rather than judging each tube separately. Mounting hardware is included.

Three checks before you choose

  • Scale: Use painter’s tape or paper to mark the artwork’s footprint. For a set, include the gaps between pieces. Our guide to choosing wall art above a sofa offers a useful starting point.
  • Color: Pick up one or two existing tones from your furniture or textiles. A small repeat often creates enough connection without matching every surface.
  • Depth and placement: Check side views, nearby doors and furniture, and the mounting information on the product page. Give projecting forms and hanging fibers enough clearance.
